The board and staff of National Council For Adoption have looked forward to celebrating our forty years of achievement with our friends and supporters at the Families For All Gala on Thursday, April 30th, 2020.

Because of recent events related to the COVID-19 virus, we have made the difficult decision that it would be neither feasible nor responsible to host such a large event on that date, particularly one taking place in a major urban center and requiring many of our guests to travel. We have also determined that the current public health environment is too uncertain to announce a date or place for a rescheduled event at this time.
Meanwhile, we are working closely with our member agencies throughout the country to provide focused support in this time of crisis, to ensure that there is minimal interruption to their important work of helping children find forever families. With the support of our friends and partners, our work continues to ensure that every child, everywhere finds a permanent, stable, loving home.
We do look forward to recognizing all of our gala sponsors and award recipients at a celebration of adoption to be announced as soon as is practicable, and look forward to welcoming you at that time and honoring your commitment to NCFA and our vision of families for all.

NCFA Celebrating 40 Years of Family

As we celebrate 40 years of service to children, birth parents, and adoptive families, National Council For Adoption remains the premier adoption advocacy nonprofit in the United States, promoting a culture of adoption through education, research, legislative action, and collaboration. Because of NCFA, more children are adopted out of foster care, women facing unintended pregnancy receive comprehensive information on the positive option of adoption, and intercountry adoption remains a viable, ethical option for building families.

Our vision is a loving, permanent family for all children everywhere. We recognize adoption as very often the only way children can have the unique love and security of a family, when their biological parents cannot parent them in a caring and stable home.
