Kids at Heart

Join us for Kids at Heart 2007

It’s a family celebration!

Hosted by the National Council For Adoption

Date:         Sunday, November 18, 2007

Time:        1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Location:   Chelsea Piers Field House

                  Pier 62

23rd Street & the Hudson River

                  New York, New York 10011

Kids at Heart is the ultimate party for adoptive families! Every year, the National Council For Adoption hosts this special event, a celebration of the wide diversity of adoptive families in the tri-state area. Among our guests are families who just finalized their children’s adoptions out of foster care during New York’s Adoption Week, which occurs the week prior to Kids at Heart. Just as exciting, Kids at Heart takes place every November to coincide with National Adoption Month.

The New Venue: Chelsea Piers Field House

We’re excited about the venue we’ve chosen for Kids at Heart 2007! Situated on Piers 59, 60, 61, and 62, Chelsea Piers Sports & Entertainment Complex is a 30-acre waterfront sports village located between 17th and 23rd Streets along Manhattan's Hudson River. This $120 million, privately financed project has transformed four historic, but long neglected, piers into a major center for public recreation and waterfront access. On November 18, 2007, Kids at Heart will take over the Chelsea Piers Field House, where kids will enjoy basketball, soccer, rock climbing, gymnastics, batting cages, the toddler adventure center, a presentation from the Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus, a complimentary boxed lunch, and many more fun activities!
