What is the Intercountry Adoption Journey?
The Intercountry Adoption Journey is an online training program from NCFA designed to meet the 10-hour Hague Convention training requirement for prospective adoptive parents. It’s also a great resource for new adoption professionals or those who need a refresher, or anyone who wants to learn more about the intercountry adoption process. The training is designed to be friendly and flexible for prospective adoptive parents’ needs. You can register online anytime for this training, participate at your own pace, and return to review materials as often as you want.
Time-Tested, with an All New Look!
Since 2008, the Intercountry Adoption Journey has successfully provided education to more than 10,000 adoptive parents and adoption professionals. Recently, it had a mini-makeover! It is on a new, user-friendly operating system and some of the content has been updated to reflect new information and changes in the adoption system. NCFA will continue to regularly update and improve the content and videos with the goal to keep this essential training a state-of-the-art resource for prospective adoptive parents.

This Hague-compliant training program features videos of adoption professionals, adoptive families, government officials, and other experts and essential reading materials. It is recognized and recommended by many accredited adoption service providers across the United States and has been reviewed by the Council on Accreditation.
