NCFA 2004 Adoption Hall of Fame Awards Banquet and National Adoption Conference great successes

NCFA held its annual Adoption Hall of Fame Awards Banquet on March 31, at the Embassy of the Russian Federation. Dr. Gregory Foltz, longtime adoption advocate, was inducted into NCFA’s Adoption Hall of Fame. Representative Wally Herger and the Honorable Wade F. Horn, assistant secretary of the Administration for Children and Family Services for the Department of Health and Human Services, received Friend of Adoption awards. NCFA’s 2004 National Adoption Conference took place on April 1 and 2, in Washington, DC, at the Washington Terrace Hotel. The annual conference offered adoption professionals and child welfare advocates the opportunity to learn from adoption policy officials, lawmakers, and others with expertise in issues facing the adoption community.
