Why We Did This Study
While no one study can comprehensively account for the complexity of experiences among millions of adopted individuals, birth and adoptive families, this research series provides significantly useful data for policymakers, members of the media, and others interested in adoption. Our primary purpose is to equip adoption professionals, pregnancy counselors, adoptive families, and prospective adoptive parents with information to help them in their role as part of the larger adoption community.
