'Bella' takes top prize at Toronto Film Festival

"Bella," written and directed by Alejandro Monteverde beat all with their English-language drama about an International soccer star, played by Eduardo Verastegui, and an attractive waitress, performed by Emmy award winner Tammy Blanchard, who experience one unforgettable day in New York city that changes their lives forever.

Bella is a beautiful story about love, life and relationships in the face of the unexpected. Bella also includes actors Manny Perez (El Cantante ), Angélica Aragón (Dirty Dancing, Havana Nights), Ramon Rodriguez (Carlito’s Way) and Ali Landry (Miss USA 1996, "Felicity" and “Eve” ) and cinematography by Andrew Cadelago.
