The National Council For Adoption (NCFA) is excited to announce its 2014 National Adoption Conference, to be held June 19-20, 2014 at the Buena Vista Palace in Orlando, Florida. Every year at NCFA’s annual conference, professionals and leaders in the field of adoption learn what is happening at the forefront of adoption policy and practice and how they can play an active role in improving and safeguarding adoption to better serve their clients.
The conference theme, Charting a New Path: Creativity vs. Reactivity, highlights the present and growing need for adoption professionals to reevaluate their practices and procedures, be proactive in the field of adoption, and focus on the ways they respond to and serve clients—in short, focus on moving from reactivity to creativity!
This year’s program will include a mix of breakout and plenary sessions, roundtables, and panel discussions, with separate tracks for management and clinicians. All sessions will be interactive, fostering discussion of proven and innovative strategies for practice, implementation, and collaboration.
